I call it a conspiracy because I found it at the top of the popular Social News website Reddit.com, linked to the popular conspiracy website PrisonPlanet.com. The conspiracy website is simply linking to a BBC Radio program titled "Document", which is an "award winning investigative series", which features a 29 Minute long program about this 1933 Coup.

The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America, (owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George Bush's Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression.

Boy, sounds quite interesting, give it a listen and see what conclusions your mind comes up with. I remember reading once that Prescott Bush helped finance the Nazi's, I am very happy he failed at turning American into a Fascist land. that would have made WWII a little bit more messy. I could be reading into it too much but it kinda disturbs me that both his Son and his Grandson have become President... The Netscapers have already weighed in.
